Refer A Household

As the economic pressure on low-income families grows, more and more families are placed in the position of choosing between vital necessities and essential home repairs and modifications. Rebuilding Together Long Beach is dedicated to preserving affordable home ownership and revitalizing communities. In the tradition of the American barn-raising, we partner with communities to provide free rehabilitation and critical repairs to the homes of low-income, elderly, and disabled Americans so they may continue to live in warmth, safety, and independence.

Eligible applicants are individuals who live in the Greater Long Beach area who own their homes. The Greater Long Beach area includes Signal Hill, Lakewood, Bellflower, Paramount, Dominquez and Wilmington. Priority is given to older adults, disabled individuals and families with children.

If you know of a friend, neighbor, or other individual who needs assistance with home repairs, please refer them to Rebuilding Together Long Beach.  Professionals in the medical, law enforcement, clergy, social services, and education fields may see individuals or families in need during the course of their jobs.  We are here to help and appreciate your referral so we can in turn help someone in need.  Referrals can be made by calling RTLB at (562) 490-3802, accessing our website for an application (link), or giving the individual or family an application directly.

Refer a Non-Profit Organization

We offer assistance to organizations which own or manage facilities that serve people who are low income, elderly, families with children or individuals with disabilities. If you have any questions regarding the eligibility of the organization you would like to refer, please feel free to contact us.
