Annual Kick Off to Rebuild
For 17 years, Rebuilding Together has partnered with the NFL to bring our mission of preserving home ownership and revitalizing low‐income communities to Super Bowl cities. On the morning of February 3, 2012, hundreds of volunteers, past and present NFL members and players, Indianapolis community leaders, well‐known national celebrities, and local and national sponsors will complete renovations begun in November on ten homes in the Super Bowl Legacy Neighborhood of Near Eastside. Rebuilding Together Receives Award at
National Healthy Homes Conference
Rebuilding Together received "Leading the Nation to Healthy Homes, Families and Communities" award, presented by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) during their National Healthy Homes Conference in Denver. HUD's Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control and its partners are honoring the achievements of organizations who are "Leading the Nation to Healthy Homes, Families and Communities." Rebuilding Together was recognized as one of the leaders whose work has provided solutions and advancements to a safer and healthier way of life for thousands of neighborhoods across the country.
