Volunteering Is Good for the Body and Soul

Rebuilding Together is an all-volunteer organization. The board and committees are comprised of volunteers. An additional 500 volunteers or more gather each year to work on National Rebuilding Day in April. While the board and committees plan year-round for Rebuilding Day, the majority of volunteers gather to paint houses, re-roof homes, add fixtures, build fences, landscape yards and complete other repair jobs in the one-day effort.

Under California law and because of the nature of a work site, volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. All youth groups must have an adult team leader participate, too. To get involved download the waiver, submit it to our offices no later than march 31st for April's National Rebuilding Day or September 30th for October's Make a Difference Day.
